The owner of this high profile food company wanted to increase production by removing the existing production line, install a new line with all new equipment, conveyor, ovens, process piping, plumbing, and electrical. UIC was selected based on past outstanding performance on other projects completed at their site, as well as similar projects that were completed, and self performed the majority of the work on time, and within budget.

Thermoforming Plastic Manufacturer Equipment Installation and Tenant Improvements

The owner of this world wide manufacturer of renowned brand name plastic automotive accessories contracted with UIC for services as an installation contractor and as a proven general contractor. UIC generated an ambitious schedule, equipment was ordered with expedited deliveries, engineered drawings were completed and submitted to Edison as well as the city for approval, bid packages were completed and sent out, subs were selected, contracts were issued, and construction began within 10 days from bid packages being issued to the start of construction. UIC met their start up requirements without overtime and completed the project to the owners' complete satisfaction.

UIC dismantle and relocation project of silicone manufacturing plant

Silicone Manufacturing Plant Dismantle and Relocation

UIC was selected as the general contractor to dismantle a 200,000 square foot silicone manufacturing plant in California and relocate it to South Carolina. The project's scope included removing all equipment with its related piping and valves, load it onto specialized trailers, and ship across the country to the new location. The entire project had to be completed within 4 weeks from start to finish.
